CUSTOM DESIGN SERVICE
Thank you for choosing Montana Custom Beams for your custom timber frame and design needs. We are dedicated to ensuring that our customers receive quality service and expert craftsmanship in all of our projects. To this end, we have implemented the following service guidelines:
- Minimum Order Requirement: All custom jobs that require design services have a minimum order size of $5,000. An initial payment of $5,000 is due at the start of the design and consultation process, which will be credited toward your final wood package.
- Included Consultation Hours: With your initial payment, the following consultation services are included:
- Up to 10 hours of 3-D rendering time
- Up to 5 hours of project manager time
- Up to 3 hours with a master timber framer
- Additional Consultation Fees: Should the consultation process exceed the included hours, additional fees will be charged at the following rates:
- 3-D render time: $95/hour
- Project manager time: $80/hour
- Master timber framer time: $125/hour

Standardized Pricing Method: We have a standardized pricing method for our timber and custom joinery services. This method ensures that all our customers are charged consistently based on the materials used and the work undertaken. It allows for transparent pricing, where costs are determined by the quantifiable amount of resources and labor that goes into each project.
Equality in Pricing: Every client, regardless of project size or complexity, is assured that they are getting the same rate for the same services and materials as any other client. We do not discriminate in pricing based on any external factors; everyone is provided the same standardized rate.
